Wanted: New York Yankee Dog Bloggers!
Greetings visitors and friends! Chris here. I come before you today to announce a wager arranged between Mackenzie (Yankees fan) and BigPupi (Red Sox fan). Depending upon which teams finishes on top of the AL East, the losing pup will wear the opposing teams hat and post a picture to their blog (I'll admit this gives me the chills). As you can see the stakes are high...and you're invited to participate!
Are you a member of Red Sox Nation? Do you have a pinstripe pup? If so, and if would like to join the bet, either leave a comment below (be sure to tag yourself as a Sox or Yankees fan) or send an email to chris[@]barkability.com. All you need is a dog and a blog. If your team is the winner, sit back and enjoy the puppy pictures featuring your team. If your team is the loser, prepare to post a picture of your own. If you'd like to get involved, the deadline is midnight 5/31/08. We'll be in touch the first week of June to firm-up the details.
If you aren't a fan of either team, but know of someone who is, feel free to forward this post.
Let the games begin!
Wags,
Chris & Mackenzie
P.S. - Mackenzie got so excited she just had to put on her jersey to show some Yankee love!

Needless to say, I'm down with this wager and I KNOW the Nation will win.
I am Fenway and that's my every day name. When I'm in a show I'm known as Tartan Bay Green Monster.
So, tell me Chris and Mackenzie, do I really have to state my allegiance? Scroll through some of my old posts and you will find me in front of the Sox lawn sign, wearing a DiceK tee-shirt and a Sox cap.Get this!!!!f I'm going up to MA next month and will shop for my new Sox collar right on Yawkey Way!!!!!
The icing on the cake for me this year is for Manny or Big Papi to beat out Baby A-Rod for MVP.

Fenway,
Welcome! Thanks for stopping by!
As a wise man once said, "it ain't over till it's over". We may be 7.5 games back, but it's still early (or at least that's what I'm telling myself). I'm no fair weather fan; I'll ride along no matter what happens.
So, back to the challenge...what team should I put you down for? ;)
Thanks again for visiting. Looking forward to the rest of the season.
Wags,
Chris & Mackenzie

Hey Mackenzie! I'm gathering my dogs up. Don't expect to gain any ground on the Sox tonight since we have Bartolo Colon pitching for us now. This guy can do some major post-game feasting!

Hey Chris and Mackenzie,
I am currently without a canine companion at the moment since the departure of my buddy Buffett - and having a 2 year old daughter, with one on the way - no replacement soon.
So I have enlisted my brothers to help out by enrolling their girls KC & Sadie in this little battle.
Good luck ..
BTW .. don't forget it's the 30 year anniversary of the 1978 season, so we know better than to be too cocky too early!

Joe,
Welcome! Thanks for stopping by and for tweeting about our little wager.
Sorry to hear you lost a pup, but happy to hear that you're family is growing. A dog is in your future...I can see it. :)
Please say 'hi' to KC & Sadie for me...this season should be fun!
Have a grrreat Memorial Day weekend!
Wags,
Chris & Mackenzie

Hey Mackenzie! Are you getting ready for the weekend series? Division collision. My human is grilling up some brats that are hopefully for me. I'm starting to think we'll both be wearing Rays hats. Good luck!

Hey BigPupi,
Yes, been looking forward to it! My human is getting me something raw...it sounds good. I can't believe we fell so hard tonight...hate to see Andy lose.
No...Ray's...ever!
